Hey, my name is Allie
I’m here to capture the real, joy-filled moments that make your family one of a kind. For me, photography is about more than just beautiful images—it’s about preserving the little details, the big milestones, and everything in between.
Based in Washington, DC and Northern Virginia, I specialize in family, couple, and lifestyle photography that feels warm, natural, and full of heart.
My approach
Before photography, I spent 15 years teaching 1st through 4th grade—so I know kids, and I know families.
As a mom myself, I understand how meaningful connection is—and how unpredictable little ones can be—so I create sessions that are relaxed, flexible, and pressure-free. When you book a session with me, you’re getting more than a photographer—you’re getting a kid-savvy, fun-loving professional who knows how to keep things smooth, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable for the whole family.

A Little About Me
I live in Falls Church, Virginia, which is basically like living in Stars Hollow—IYKYK.
I believe everything in life is about finding balance—between chaos and calm, movement and stillness.
I love kids and the energy they bring. I’m a mom to a wild, wonderful toddler who lives for lightsaber battles and keeps me on my toes in the best way.
I think photos should be printed—held, shared, and hung on walls—not tucked away on a hard drive.
I’d happily live in a Nancy Meyers home, Father of the Bride is my all-time favorite movie, and Friday nights almost always mean pizza.
And I believe it isn’t where you are, but who you’re with, that matters most.
